Pelatihan Bimbingan Konseling Terhadap Tingkat Pemahaman Konseling Pada Guru SDN 3 Jarak Wonosalam Jombang

Abstract


Guidance and counseling is needed by all children in the developmental process, focusing on how children learn and on the process of encouraging development, counselors and teachers play a role in helping students to learn and engage in the learning process. The facts in the field show that not many elementary school teachers have upgraded their skills through various trainings, one of which is the competence to conduct guidance and counseling. Various alternative solutions can be used as problem solving, namely by training counseling guidance on the level of understanding in elementary school teachers. The method of implementing counseling guidance training activities for teachers is the preparation stage, the implementation stage which consists of providing material and simulations, and the discussion and evaluation stage. The target audience is teachers of State Elementary School 3 Jarak, Wonosalam, Jombang, and the participants consist of the principal and 8 teachers. The results of processing pre-test and post-test data from this psychoeducational activity using the Wilcoxon test found that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) is 0.011 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference. In general, the activity ran quite smoothly. There was an increase in teachers' understanding of guidance and counseling. There are 3 discussions of basic counseling guidance techniques provided, namely listening skills, directing skills and reflection skills.
