Evaluasi Program Pelaksanaan Tahfizh al-Quran di Pondok Pesantren Basilam Baru

Abstract


Various models of program evaluation have been described by experts. The evaluation model from one to another does seem to vary, but the purpose and objective is the same, namely to carry out data or information collection activities relating to the object to be evaluated. Furthermore, the information collected can be given to decision makers in order to accurately determine the follow-up to the program that has been evaluated. In this study, researchers used the CIPP evaluation model. Evaluation model that emphasizes the aspects of context, input, process, and product. By using the CIPP evaluation model, it is hoped that it will make it easier for policy makers to make a program. The CIPP evaluation model is a model that can directly tell whether the program should be improved, developed, or terminated. Therefore, researchers want to conduct research on the program of implementing tahfidz Qur'an. The reason for conducting this research is to find out how the state of the Tahfidz Qur'an implementation program is and to evaluate with the CIPP model to find out whether the program needs to be continued, developed or terminated in the Tahfidzul Qur'an program at the New Basilam Islamic Boarding School. Researchers feel that the evaluation of the CIPP model is very suitable to be used as research on extracurricular Tahfidzul Qur'an at the New Basilam Islamic Boarding School.
